Mine Destroyer ‘Kormoran’ has been awarded by the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski Polish Industrial Lobby (PLP) the title of ‘Bene Meritus pro Industria Poloniae’(PLP). PLP is an organization working for the benefit of Polish industry and Polish technical thought named after the Polish Minister of Economy. In the justification, among others, the ship ORP Kormoran has been recognized as one of the most important achievements of Polish industry over the last century.
Hydromega has supplied a considerable amount of power hydraulics systems including on-board equipment to this unit. The hydraulic drives of the unit are supervised by PRS (Polish Register of Shipping).
