On Monday, 16 September, representatives of our company took part in a unique event – Cruise with GospodarkaMorska.pl. We set sail from the Westerplatte Ferry Terminal waterfront on board the Nova Star ferry of the Polferries line, in the direction of the Swedish Nynäshamn. This was already the fourth edition of this prestigious event, which brings together leading representatives of the maritime and shipbuilding industry. As every year, it was a great opportunity to discuss together the most important topics related to the functioning of this key industry for the economy.
This year’s cruise was attended by around 160 participants, who had the opportunity to participate in a programme of meetings, presentations and panel discussions. Our company was represented by the Vice President for Commercial Affairs, Mr Jarosław Richert, and the Commercial Director, Mr Grzegorz Schulz.
Five panel discussions were held during the 3-day cruise, which addressed the most current topics related to the maritime economy. Among the main topics were the energy transition, the development of the shipbuilding industry, financing and insurance, the challenges of the offshore wind sector, as well as technological innovations applied to vessels.
