The conference, organized by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HD HHI) under the slogan: “A new era of Polish-Korean cooperation for the Polish Navy and Polish industry,” was held in Warsaw on October 8. The event was attended by a large number of experts from Polish companies, research institutions and the energy sector, led by representatives of the Polish Navy. Among the participants of the conference was also our company.
During the meeting, it was emphasized how valuable the selection of HHI’s offerings in the “Orka” program could be for the development of Polish industry. The Polish Navy would then gain modern submarines, and Polish industry would gain access to advanced innovative technologies that could increase its competitiveness in the global market.
Among the delegates invited to the conference were representatives of Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. and Gdansk Shipyard “Remontowa” S.A., who gave a joint presentation of the capabilities of the companies of the Remontowa Holding group for the construction and servicing of warships, including for the ORKA program.
The main point and culmination of the conference was the signing of a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between HD HHI, Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. and Gdansk Shipyard “Remontowa” S.A.
We keep our fingers crossed for fruitful cooperation of the above companies and the development of the Polish industry.
