ORP Mewa on sea trials

On 14 December 2021, the minehunter ORP Mewa sailed from Remontowa Shipbuilding SA shipyard for sea trials. It is the last of a series of three ships built for the Polish Navy under the 258 Kormoran II project.

ORP Mewa is the last of the three ships built so far, which will be delivered to the 13th Minesweeper Squadron of the 8th Coastal Defense Flotilla. Hydromega supplied a substantial part of the hydraulic power system for this unit, along with on-board equipment. The hydraulic drives of this unit are supervised by PRS (Polish Register of Shipping) and WDT (Military Technical Inspection).

We would like to thank our Partners, including RHS, Remontowa Shipbuilding Shipyard and Towimor S. A. for their participation in this project that is promising for the Polish Navy.
